ANDREW Abbott of Benwick Athletic has been banned for two Saturday matches by Cambs FA for using abusive language directed at match officials in the Cambs League game against Manea United. He is suspended until April 16.
Benwick Athletic Youth’s Luke Matthews is suspended for 35 days from April 4 to May 8 for abusive language during the Great Paxton game in the Cambs Colts League.
In the same league, Charlie Snell of Chatteris Town Youth was banned for 21 days starting from April 4 for attempting to kick or strike a Burwell Tigers player.
Seven-day bans came for two Crown players versus Bentinck Arms in the King’s Lynn & District Sunday League: Jack Brand for deliberate handball for denying a goalscoring chance; and Ricky Gunns for two yellow cards.
Shane Milner (Leverington Sports) is out for seven days for two yellow cards picked up against Crowland in the Peterborough League.
Jamie Whytock (Wimblington) has a one-match Cambs League ban for deliberate handball against Cherry Hinton.
Wisbech St Mary Youth’s Thomas Crowson is suspended for 21 days from April 25 for totalling three red cards in different matches.
For a similar offence Max Mattless (Wisbech Town) has a 14-day ban from April 11; but it was noted that the offences were mostly for two cautions in the same game.
