Ashley Brand has returned to March after a four-month stint with UCL club Yaxley.
The diminutive forward with a good burst of speed approached manager Paul Crosbie about a return last week.
Brand trained preseason with March before following former manager Brett Whaley in a mass exodus to Yaxley, but in recent weeks had not been able to hold down a regular place in the team.
Crosbie said: “We are delighted to have him back. When he went to Yaxley I told him he would always be welcome back if things did not work out for him.”
March have not won a Thurlow League game since the end of September and Crosbie is determined to get his side back on track against Swaffham at the GER on Saturday.
Apart from Brand’s arrival Crosbie is looking to bring in at least one player from Bedford University and is awaiting international clearance for the player recommended by coach Mark Forrest.
