LOCAL brewery Elgoods and Sons have been announced as the new sponsors of the Wisbech Town football ground.
Elgoods have stepped in after Tom Woods Beers’ sponsorship came to an end after just one year of their three-deal.
The local brewers have also signed up for three years and the ground will now be known as the Elgoods Fenland Stadium.
Wisbech Town director John Petch, who has organised the sponsorship, said: “We are delighted that Elgoods have taken up the sponsorship and hope it will be a long association with the club.
“It is also very good that a local company are backing the local football club too. They will be supplying the drinks at the club as part of the deal.”
Petch also added: “Specsavers are in their second year of a three-year deal to sponsor the kits and Thurlow Nunn are sponsoring the seated stand too. We also have Spicer McColl and Fenland Fire supporting us with the stands behind the goals too. It is good to have all these people backing us.”
