DICK Creasey resigned as Wisbech Town director last week citing that he is just not able to give the time to the job.
Creasey has been on the board for almost two years after serving a short spell as caretaker manager before his friend Steve Appleby took the post.
He was also manager of the club for three seasons from 2003.
Creasey said: “I am one of those people who has to give 100 per cent to anything I do and because of the travelling and work commitments I am not really able to do that so I stood down.
“You have to put business before pleasure, but I am a football person and I will miss the involvement. I am willing to help the club in the future in any way I can and I will still be watching some of the games.”
