MARCH Town suffered a 3-0 defeat against Peterborough League side Parson Drove on Thursday night.
Drove, managed by former Hares boss Alan Russell, took a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals from Teddy Panaytov and James McManus.
Dominic Pintillie added a third goal after the break and Russell said: “It was our first friendly and after a slow start I thought we played well. We made four or five changes after the break.”
Paul Crosbie, the March boss said: “We fielded an inexperienced side to give some of the lads who have been training a chance. Although it is never nice to lose, I thought we got more positives out of the game than the scoreline might suggest.”
