Both Wisbech Town and March Town football clubs have made signings this week.
The Fenmen have signed winger Danny Jezeph, while defender Jordan Goult made his Hares debut at Stowmarket on Saturday.
Joint Wisbech boss Paul Cousins is conscious that a few players including himself will miss the FA Vase tie at Spalding on December 7 so he wants as many players in as possible.
Cousins said of Jezeph, who made a brief sub appearance at Boston Town last week: “I heard good reports about Danny. He came down to training last week. He didn’t see a lot of the ball when he came on.
“I then spoke to him on Friday and his manager wanted him to play because they had a big cup game, and I said no worries. He will definitely be involved in the game next Saturday.
“He can play up front but he is best on either wing. He’s very, very quick and is just another option for us.”
March manager Paul Crosbie said of Goult on his return to the club: “He’s a commanding centre-half who has been at Dereham Reserves and has had a couple of first team appearances.
“He had a very encouraging debut and all three centre-halves played well.”
Former March boss Brett Whaley’s Yaxley side host the Fenmen on Saturday in the United Counties League Premier.
Tuesday sees Wisbech host Eynesbury Rovers in the League Cup.
Cousins said: “I know Brett and a few of their lads and they have had some good results. They have got Ollie Gale from us and it will be tough. They led at (UCL leaders) Spalding before losing 4-1.”
Wisbech will have Matt Lunn, who cannot play midweek matches because of work; while Cousins is suspended for three games for his sending off last week at Gornal Athletic.
