RICKY Lovelace has become the third Wisbech goalkeeper to join the injured list and leave manager Steve Appleby with a headache before Saturday’s home game against Stanway.
Lovelace was only called up last week after injuries to first choice goalkeepers Lea Jordan and Tom Roberts but he now faces an MRI scan on a shoulder injury after Tuesday’s win against March.
Former Fenmen keeper Alex Street signed on dual forms with King’s Lynn but he will be playing for the Linnets on Saturday in the FA Trophy.
Appleby said: “You just cannot believe you can lose three goalkeepers to injury in such a short time. We will now have to get someone signed before Saturday.”
