Fenmen loan player from Lynn

Wisbech Town FC have made a loan signing from local rivals King’s Lynn Town.

Wide player Charlie Butt comes in to boost the side as Callum Reed faces a three-match ban.

Butt is due to be in the squad for today’s (Saturday, September 14) United Counties League Premier Division trip to Harborough Town.

Acting manager Dick Creasey said: “Gary Setchell (Lynn’s manager, ex-Fenmen) has been very helpful. Charlie is available for as long as we want him. Charlie can play wide right or wide left.”

Former Fenmen manager Creasey ruled himself out of the permanent position: “I’d love to, but commitments and circumstances in my life are different.”
