Fenmen need goalkeeper

Wisbech Town acting manager Dick Creasey urgently needs to sign a goalkeeper because Tom Roberts dislocated his shoulder in the weekend win at Harborough Town.

The Fenmen have
United Counties League Premier Division home games with Boston Town last night (Tuesday) and Yaxley (Saturday).

Creasey said: “We are going to have to sign a keeper very quickly.

“Fortunately when Tom got up it clicked right back into place but he is going to be out for two to three weeks.”

Creasey said Ollie Gale provided the pick of Saturday’s three goals.

He commented: “He was in a ruck of players and still stuck it into the top corner.

“Ollie was here when I was a manager; he was a young boy then. He is maturing into a man.

“He doesn’t shirk a tackle and always gives 100 per cent, which is what we want at the moment.”
