Wisbech Town 4,

Harrowby United 1

The game was all over by 30 minutes when the Fenmen were already 4-0 up at the Fenland Stadium on Saturday.

Josh Ford slotted home a fourth-minute penalty and further goals came from Stuart Cobb and Danny Beaumont two.

Boss of Wisbech Town FC Dick Creasey said: “I thought when we were 4-0 up after half an hour that it’ll be ten, and it could have been.

“You get to half-time and you can get complacent. I always say really good sides don’t do that, they show no mercy.

“I don’t know how to look at it. You take the positives: we got three points, but I was disappointed with our finishing. We hit the bar a couple of times and missed a penalty.”

Adam Millson had an 80th minute penalty saved while Martin Wormall notched the visitors’ consolation on 85 minutes.

Their second win of the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division season puts the Fenmen up to 15th.

Wisbech: Jordan, Spafford, Johnson, Cousins (Horne 55), Fairweather, Millson, Cobb, Reid, Ford (Smith 60), Beaumont (Bayliss 70).
