Chatteris boxer Jordan Gill made it 11 professional wins out of 11 in front of the TV cameras on Saturday.
Gill, who has recently turned 20, fought over six rounds for the first time in his pro career at Ponds Forge Arena in Sheffield in a show broadcast on Channel Five.
The super-featherweight won every session with Simas Volosinas and triumphed 60-54 on points to maintain his perfect record.
Gill said of his victory: “A good points win over six rounds. I felt very comfortable, won every round but got caught with a few daft shots.
“I kept him under control for the whole six rounds.
“I tried a few things out. I went southpaw, walked him down, stood with him and whatever I did, it worked.
“At this level, my skills mean I can do what I want and I’m looking to move on to bigger and better things soon.
“I’m ready to fight again as soon as (manager) John (Ingle) and (trainer) Dominic (Ingle) have a date for me.”
Gill’s Ingle Gym stablemate Kid Galahad, the Commonwealth and European super-bantamweight champion, defeated Adeilson Dos Santos of Brazil in the top-of-the-bill fight.
