Discovery 0, Leverington 4

Title favourites Leverington beat last season’s champions Discovery.

Grady Goode finished well and good work down the flank from reliable Lukas Savalucius fed Willis Wright for a tap-in.

In the second half it was more of the same, Tristan Jones gave a lovely finish combining well with Callum Hughes and Wright, plus an own goal.

Manager Jon Goode added: “Both teams couldn’t get going, but another three points is what matters.”

Benwick 0, March Soccer School Yellows 3

March started this cup game brightly and soon created lots of chances, converting two in the first half through Robert Shepherd and Kurt Veness.

They added a third goal through Dean Swanson in a very good performance.

Ramsey Colts 0, March Soccer School Girls 1

March’s goal came during the first period from an impressive passing move with Libby Band firing home.
