Hares hoping to finish with a flourish

March Town have just five Ridgeons Division One games left and manager Jamie Weston is hopeful the team can finish the season with a flourish.

They face Swaffham at the GER on Saturday and if they can perform again as well as they did in the win against Ipswich Wanderers last week then they should pick up another three points.

Ash Brand, who came on as substitute and scored in that win, is expected to start on Saturday and new signing Dan Rasberry may also have done enough to join him.

Weston said: “The win last weekend should set us up for the final games and the plan is try and finish as high as possible. If we can win four of the last five games we should be in the top eight. Considering all the injury problems that will not be bad, but things could have been so much better.”

Marc Welcher is also expected to be back this weekend.
