March Town United held their annual presentation night at the The Cock public house.

For the first time, it included all the adult teams and rounded off a successful season for everyone at the club.

Chairman Phil White reflected on the season, saying: “The club has developed significantly in the season, with the clubhouse nearing completion and an excellent committee.

“The Hares are going
places.”

The first team finished mid-table in their respective league but had some strong spells during the season, where they were challenging for promotion.

Dan Woods (Supporters and Players’ Player) and Max Mattless (Manager’s Player) gained the main accolades.

The reserves appeared in two cup finals this season, winning the Junior Invitation Cup.

Their awards went to Martin Pentney (Managers’ Player) and David Blake (Players’ Player).

Young Player of the Year was Adam Conyard and Clubman was Ron Watts.

Awards for the under-18s went to Jacob Birt (Manager’s Player) and Lewis Welcher (Players’ Player).

The ladies team competed in the S-Tech South League, appeared in the FA Cup and narrowly lost in a cup semi-final.

Picking up their honours were Anna Hatcher (manager’s player) and Jade Pointer (players’ player).
