Hill to retire

JIM HILL is retiring from his position as Cambridgeshire FA’s Football Development manager after 12 years, during which he has played a significant role in changing the footballing landscape of the county.

Hill said: “I have been fortunate enough to enjoy the support of a talented and hardworking team at Cambs FA, both staff and council members.

“Together we have managed to forge links with many partners including the County Council, District & Parish Councils and the County Sports Partnership. One of our major resulting achievements is the establishment of a floodlit pitch at all but a handful of the secondary schools in Cambridgeshire.”

Hill played a big part in helping secure grants for Wisbech Town’s Fenland Stadium project.
