March completely dominated the game from the start and scored goals at regular intervals.

Seven goals were scored in the first half through Josh Kirby 4, Liam Lambert 2, and Samuel Wood.

Further goals through Kirby 2, completing a double hat-trick, a penalty by Cameron Kirby and a Lewis Kent hat-trick.

March SS Yellows 0,

Hungate Rovers 5

March started the game very well and held Hungate for 15 minutes before enforced changes unsettled the March side and they quickly conceded two goals before half time.

March were outplayed but everyone gave 100 per cent effort and enthusiasm.

Leverington 8, Woottons B 1

Still unbeaten Leverington took on second division Woottons in the cup.

After a cagey opening Callum Hughes’ left foot broke the deadlock, Willis Wright firing in number two. Woottons hit back for 2-1 before the break.

After half time goals from in-form Tristan Jones 2, Wright a lob after excellent hold up play by Grady Goode (mom), Lucas Savalucius 2 and goalkeeper Thomas Hughes, who went outfield.

UNDER 11

Leverington 6,

Paston Flyers 1

Leverington returned to winning ways and stay top of the table with a convincing win at home against a strong determined team.

Leverington’s good passing was rewarded with goals by Mitchell Bunn, Joe Lewis, Louie Garner, Dylan Peverall, Aiden Knight and with his first ever goal Lewis Clarke (mom).

UNDER 12

Estover Park 16,

Terrington Tigers PDT 0

Estover showed a ruthless streak against spirited but inexperienced opponents.

Jack Stockdale opened the scoring after a couple of minutes with MoM Ben Butterworth scoring six.

Other goals came from Kieran Kirby (3), Brandon Pearce (2) Zach Mulholland (2) and Callum Kirby (2).

UNDER 14

Downham 3, Leverington 1

This was always going to be a difficult game for Leverington against the league leaders,

As the game started Leverington absorbed the pressure and eventually Downham took the lead from the penalty spot; it was soon two via an own goal. By half-time Leverington made three mistakes and got punished for it.

Encouraging words at the interval saw Leverington fight with a bit more determination and Matt Davis lobbed the stranded keeper perfectly.

Jacob Shailes was MoM for his defensive duties, with Brandon Harris also doing well.
