Riverside 3, Hungate Rovers 1

Hungate started their season in the S-Tec Cambs Girls League.

Riverside went 3-0 up. Bennington pulled one back for Hungate from a Wakeham pass. Bennington, Ratcliffe, Holmes and C. Ward all went close.

Estover Park 2, Clenchwarton 2

Missed chances cost Park as they dominated this match.

Paris Wakelen scored in the first half but a goal direct from the corner and a clearance gave Clenchwarton the lead.

Rhi Butler scored from close range and despite attacks from Zoe Birch and Megan Rooney, Park couldn’t score again.

PoM: Dani Westgate.

UNDER 14

Chatteris 2, Estover Park 0

A frustrating first half where Estover couldn’t settle, and both teams hit the crossbar.

In the second half, the Chatteris keeper made excellent saves then two moments of madness in defence gave Chatteris two goals.

Estover PoM: Amy Newell.

Wisbech St Mary 2, Riverside 2

A good team performance again by Saints with goals from in-form Caitlin Cossey and Jade Chamberlain.

Riverside scored two late goals and this led to a nervy last few minutes.

UNDER 11

Estover Park 0, St Ives 4

The girls shipped four girls in the first 15 minutes before settling. Then came some excellent football with PoM Hana Howsam denied by the post twice.

Rachel Holland and Jordan Johns impressed.
