Chatteris Town football club’s first team has started preparation for next season with a home friendly match against Swaffham at West Street.

Chatteris went 1-0 up in the first half with a goal from Asa Revell and conceded an equaliser late in the second half, for a great 1-1 result against a higher ranked team from Thurlow Nunn Division One.

Further friendly matches are already planned for July 20 against Wisbech Town and July 30 against King’s Lynn, both at home. The club is always looking for new players too, so anyone interested in joining one of the teams can contact new manager Jock Bedford for a chat on 07983 743733.
