ARRIVE early and don’t miss the kick off is the message from chairman Phil White before Saturday’s Fenland derby in the FA Cup between March Town and Wisbech Town at the GER.
It is the first clash for 30 years in the competition between the two teams and a crowd of 350 is expected to turn out. White said: “We will have two turnstiles open and they should cope well unless everyone turns up at the last minute.
“So the message is get to the ground early and do not miss the kick off. We will have refreshments on hand before the game and there will be a barbecue as well.”
March have resisted the temptation to increase the admission price and it will be £4 for adults and £2 for children.
March firm Lenford Electricals are sponsoring the game and boys from March Soccer School will be ball boys for the afternoon.
