The Hares dropped two Thurlow Nunn Division One points after goals from Jordan Goult and Matt Barber.
The first goal for March came with a corner along the floor by Dan Woods which was put in on the slide by Goult. More chances came and went before the visitors evened it up with a goal that many felt was offside.
The second half saw March 2-1 ahead after a minute when Barber volleyed home from just inside the box. Then the visitors were level again with a hotly-disputed penalty for handball against Gerard Evans.
The Reserves suffered a narrow defeat at Huntingdon United.

Benwick Reserves 3 Upwell Town Res 6
Upwell Reserves dominated, but found themselves 1-0 down against the run of play. Upwell replied through Aiden Rouse two, either side of Lee Gardner’s effort being turned into the Benwick net before half-time.
In the last 20 minutes Matt Thomas, reserve team captain Steven Rogers and Jack Moore all hit the target.
Manager John Trower said: “I’m pleased with the result and the lads’ work rate. I’m still waiting on a few players to come back in due to other commitments.”
Upwell A also got off to a winning start, 4-0 at promotion favourites Springwood.

A team manager, Harry Griffin, said: “We had a few players making their first steps in adult football and they certainly looked like they made the step up with ease.”

Marchester Utd 3 Needingworth 6
Newly-formed club Marchester lost their first game of the season against a good side.
Scorers: Chris Haddon, Richard Lighty and a deflected own goal.

Tydd St Mary 0 Stamford Lions Res 2
Tydd conceded two early, sloppy goals while Stamford defended for their lives for 70 minutes.
The Stamford goalkeeper kept out an exquisite volley from Joe Harrison and a great run and shot from Mike Ocock.
Manager, Carl Wilson, said: “We battered them for 70 minutes but just couldn’t get the break we needed.”
March Soccer School 0 Wisbech St Mary 2
In a closely contested and entertaining game, MSS wasted a number of good chances whilst WSM proved more clinical.
