March duo net hat-tricks

Both sides created chances in the first half with Nick King clipping the post for March;.

The home side notched twice before the break. During the second half Felixstowe couldn’t break March down other than from short corners which March felt aggrieved by the awarding of some, however the home side did dispatch them well.

March’s captain Adam Graham was delighted with his team’s performance and hope to carry the same positive attitude into next weekend’s home game to Ely.

March 2nds was the home side for the inter-club game for division 4NW.

March 2nds started to string together a series of attacks, leading to a half-time score of 7-0. Hat-tricks from Charlie Boughton and Rob Mitchell. Also on the scoresheet were Tony Manse, Toby Odlin, Jacob Fraser and Hugh Whittome.

March Ladies 2, Bourne Deeping 3rds 0

(awarded 3-0 due to BD being in the league on a friendly basis)

Becky Hammond and Amy Laws made some great runs through the middle, resulting in a goal from Libby Wallis.

After half time, Hammond’s shot from the top of the D defeated the keeper. Player of the match was between Cath, Melissa Clench and Becky Hammond.
