New boss reveals plans

New manager Danny Hughes has talked about his vision for the newly-reformed Wisbech Town FC Reserves.

He said: “The plans for the Reserves is to bring in players who are good enough to step up to the first team as and when required.

“Both my assistant Mel Mattless and I are working hard to get a side together which will hopefully compete at the top of Peterborough League Division One as we wish to push the Reserves through to a level as close to the first team as possible.

“Although we know the task ahead will be difficult with it being a completely new squad, the players we have spoken to all seem up for the job.

“To help us achieve our aims in a professional manner, we require sponsorship for tracksuits, training kit and warm-up tops, so if anybody fancies sponsoring the Reserves, please contact Spenny (@spennylarham) with details. These are exciting times.”
