Upwell went down 4-3 to Outwell Res in a feisty Cambs League 5D local derby.

Unfortunately due to a referee shortage, no official was put in charge of the game. The Upwell manager commented that there were some potential sending-offs, but unfortunately it’s difficult for a stand-in referee to do that.

Upwell’s goalscorers were: Jonny Allen, Martin Chapman and Tim Housden from the penalty spot.

A young Benwick Res team lost 5-0 to March Saracens. Joe Davis went close with a header but Benwick were undone by four second half goals.
