UNDER 15

Estover Park 3, Stamford 4

Park were 2-0 down after 10 minutes but a late first half goal from Fern Paterson got them back in the game.

Despite being the stronger team in the second half, Stamford got two more goals, before Emma Searle scored a brace to set up an exciting last few minutes. Defender Bethan Evans was pom and Dani Westgate was excellent in goal.

Hungate Rovers 5, Glinton 0

Both teams started the match with excellent pace and passing. Dominique Coleman gave Hungate the lead and then doubled it. Casey Ward finished a rebound off the post before Emma Rudd made it 4-0 at half time.

Glinton defended better in the second half with their keeper making some great saves. Rudd scored the only goal this half for Hungate in another strong team performance.

UNDER 14

Sawtry 2, Wisbech St Mary 3

Saints put in their best team performance so far this season to beat league leaders Sawtry in a very close and competitive game. Scorers were Jade Chamberlain 2 and Victoria Gatward.

Huntingdon Rowdies 2,

Estover Park 3

Park took a three-goal lead with goals from Amy Newell (2) and Fran Plitsch (1), with second in the league Rowdies pulling one back before half time.

The second half was about the defensive skills of the team, a battling performance from all the Park players. An excellent win against a team that beat Park 10-0 at the start of the season.

UNDER 11

Sawston 6, Estover Park 0

Estover came up against a very strong Sawston side and were 2-0 down in the first 10 minutes and were 4-0 down at the break.

In the second half Estover tried to stop Sawston playing the ball around but they added two more goals

Hannah Lemon (pom) had a good game in midfield with lots of running and good passing.
