Former midfielder Callum Reed, who is currently without a club, is back training with Wisbech Town.

After leaving the Fenmen last year under a little bit of a cloud the wide man (pictured) briefly joined UCL side Peterborough Northern Star.

Fenmen boss Steve Appleby said: “Callum is training with us, simple as that. He had issues with Peterborough Northern Star and I think he left them in November, he wasn’t enjoying it there.

“Give the lad credit he is trying to build bridges and if we’re at a point where we can take him back we will then address the situation.

“We are not talking apologising or anything but he has got to prove to the fans and chairman that he wants to play for Wisbech Town.”

Appleby added: “We’ve missed a player like Callum and missed him badly. He scores a lot of goals from wide midfield.

“He seems to have done a lot growing up, and now he needs to prove it to the people that matter like the chairman.”
