GOALKEEPER Ricky Lovelace will be a new face sitting on the Wisbech Town bench for Saturday’s FA Vase fourth round tie against Dunston UTS at the Elgood’s Fenland Stadium on Saturday.
Lovelace, who is attached to Skegness Town, has been signed as cover for Ryan Rayner, who will not be available in midweek for the next two months because of work commitments.
Manager Steve Appleby said: “Ricky is a sound keeper and is helping us out. It is good to have cover for the Vase game in case anything should happen to Ryan and then he will play in Tuesday’s Cambs Invitation Cup game against Haverhill.
“Should we win on Saturday he will help us out again in the next round of the Vase as well.”
Lovelace has also played for UCL sides Boston Town and Holbeach.
