Leverington Sports returned after a snowy lay-off with a 4-2 Peterborough League Premier Division victory at Deeping Rangers Res as 11th played 12th.

Joe Green equalised after a scrambled corner and Jason Day made it 2-1 with a volley. Sam Cubberley made it 3-1 at half-time with a speculative goal, but Sports were sloppy and allowed Deeping a lot of the ball and a second goal. Chris McAree wrapped it up with a late strike.

Boss Stuart Webb gave special mentions to Jason Pease and Joe Gallagher, adding: “Overall we deserved to win but we were sloppy at times.”
