March Saracens showed great resilience to take a share of the spoils in this entertaining 2-2 draw with Tilney in the King’s Lynn and District Sunday League.

Saracens’ rookie keeper Dan Smethurst (mom) produced a string of fine saves to keep his side in the game and was unfortunate to be beaten just before the break when a defensive lapse allowed Tilney to go in front.

In the second half Germaine Watson gave Saracens hope with a well taken strike, and in the closing minutes Watson added a second after good work from Paul Rowell.
