March Saracens progressed to their second cup semi-final in three weeks with a battling performance in the TGWU Cup to beat Fairstead 4-2 after extra time.

The West Norfolk Sunday League side created numerous chances in the first half but were denied by the outstanding home goalkeeper.

In the second half Saracens raised their game and Ash Taylor scored with a superb strike but defensive lapses allowed Fairstead to score twice to take the lead.

Saracens changed things round and Dan Smethurst came up with the equaliser.

In extra time a fine header from Alan Setchell and a strike from Jermaine Watson (mom) made the tie safe.
