Saracens in semi-finals

March Saracens progressed to the Lynn Sunday League Knockout Cup semi-finals with a 5-1 win over Fowler FC.

Dan Smethurst gave them the lead with an unstoppable strike after good work from Luke Talmage and Luke Jordan made it 2-0.

An own goal put Saracens in control at the break but Fowler made it 3-1 before Alan Setchell and Jermaine Watson wrapped up the tie with Luke Talmage (mom).

Crown faced White Bell for the second time in the last eight days and beat them 6-1 in the league on Sunday.

Chris Gunkel opened the scoring for Crown with a superb header. Ben Jimson and Ricky Gunns then made it 3-0 at the break.

In the second half Jonny Secker scored from the penalty spot and Jimson grabbed his second. Steve Howard also got on the score sheet before White Bell grabbed a late consolation goal from the penalty spot.
