Saracens progress

March Saracens made it to the last four in the TGWU Cup in the King’s Lynn and District Sunday League with a 4-2 win against Northend in an evenly contested showdown.

Saracens went ahead early on when Jermaine Watson scored directly from a corner but North End hit back with two well taken goals from Aaron Yeomans to lead 2-1.

Ash Taylor brought the scores level at the break with a simple tap-in.

In the second half Saracens raised their game in difficult conditions with midfield dynamo Jim Smith running the show.

Man of the match Watson put them in control with a stunning strike at 3-2 and Arron Connor wrapped things up with a looping header in what was a good sporting match well refereed by Ray Collings. Michael Crisp did well for Northend.
