Scott fires Tydd into semi

Tydd St. Mary of Division Four booked their place in the Peterborough League Shield semi-final on Saturday after a deserved 1-0 win against Division Five leaders Eye United.

In the second minute of extra time skipper Gary Booth threaded a superb pass for Saints top scorer Scott Pemberton to apply a stunning finish. Tydd play Hampton Sports FC away in the semi on March 22.

Upwell were held 3-3 away to bogey team Manea Reserves in Cambs 5D, despite being 2-0 up within the first six minutes via Jonny Allen and Gary Green. After half-time Green made it 3-2.
