Six-a-side gala success for Hungate

Estover Park U15 Girls finished runners up in the Hungate 6 a Side Tournament. With 13 teams from across Norfolk and Cambs participating, they finished runners up in their group with the biggest tournament win of the day, 5-0 against Clenchwarton and also beating a strong Hungate team 2-0. In the Semi Final, they beat Deeping Diamonds 1-0 with a last gasp goal by Alesi Willett. In the final they played Riverside and had chances after going 1-0 down. Trying to attack to get back in the game, they conceeded, losing 4-0 but it was a great day for the team.' HUNGATE Under 15s won their home six-a-side gala after a fantastic day of football from all visiting teams – and Estover Park Girls finished runners-up in their competition.

Hungate made the final after a penalty shoot-out in the semi-final against Downham then followed a very competitive match against Leverington where Jack Friend scored both goals for Hungate in a 2-1 victory.
