Wisbech Town striker Dubi Ogbonna has committed himself to the club after a seven-day approach was made by Ryman League side Wroxham.

Ogbonna turned down the chance of a move at the weekend and Fenmen boss Steve Appleby commented: “It is great news that Dubi is staying as you want to keep your best players. He is very happy at Wisbech and feels very settled at the club.”

Appleby gave a debut to new signing Deakan Napier at Felixstowe at the weekend in the 1-0 defeat. Napier, a speedy winger, joins from Histon having played last season at Needham Market and also Soham Town.

Lewis Sturman, a Boston United defender, also came on as substitute.
