Hungate Rovers 6,

Ellie Bennington (pom) opened the scoring for Hungate and Megan Ratcliffe extended the lead before Bennington added a third goal as half-time approached.

Cherry Hinton came out stronger after the break, but a Casey Read goal-kick put Emma Rudd through for the fourth. Casey Ward finished a goalmouth scramble and Ratcliffe netted the sixth and final goal. This commanding performance saw Hungate go into the Christmas break second in the Cambs League.

UNDER 13

Hungate 11, Ramsey 0

Top of the table Hungate started well and Carlie Knight scored a well taken goal.

Knight added two more goals for her hat-trick and Lucy Bedwell scored twice as Hungate led 5-0 at the break. Hungate dominated with further goals from Annie Wenn 2, Tillie Murphy, Abbi Venni and two more more from Knight to take her tally to five.

UNDER 12

Chatteris 10, Isleham 1

Chatteris attacked from the start and goals went flying in.

Great work from Lehanna Turner gave her another hat-trick before Teonie Peyton also hit three goals. Ella Nutter, who recently has been playing in top form, scored with the last kick of the game to complete a third hat-trick in the game and remain the club’s top scorer with 11 goals.

UNDER 11

Estover Park 1, Ramsey 1

This was a very even game with two attacking sides going for goals.

After three minutes Ramsey scored the first goal of the game. Five minutes later Estover started passing the ball around that set up Naomi McGarvie to score from with a great through ball by Jordan Johns .

The second half saw both sides going for goals but they could not finish the chances. Holly Patrick (pom) made some good tackles.
