Emma Frost had a goal disallowed for an infringement and Emma Searle hit the crossbar.

The Hares, playing with an injured keeper and a defence including three 17-year-olds, conceded on the stroke of half-time. The second half was all the Hares, especially when Newmarket had a player sent off, but it was one of those days.
