Upwell Town hit five goals in 13 minutes

Upwell ran out 9-3 winners against Chatteris Town A in Cambs League Division 5C.

Upwell opened the scoring from the penalty spot two minutes in through Luke 
Gale.

Upwell then netted five times in 13 minutes through Phil Jackson (2), Jack 
Watson (2) and Aaron Marshall.

In the second half Tommy Fage (2) and Marcin Gircza both scored their first goals for the 
club.

Chatteris striker Shane Bilney-Knight completed a hat-trick in reply.

March Saracens 5, Benwick Ath Res 0

In a nightmare opening 20 minutes of the season, Benwick let in four goals.

Benwick went close with efforts from Damon Shailes and Ryan Smith.

Coldham Utd 1, Manea Res 1

Coldham dominated the second half and got their rewards when Kinsey Carter put in a cross for new signing Christian Haddon to level on his debut.

Another new signing Graham Rushmer put in a fine display in defence.

March Town United 1, Milton 2

Anna Hatcher hit the inside of the post and Emma Frost was unable to follow up on the rebound, while keeper Dani Westgate made some strong saves.

With 15 mins to go Milton hit two goals and

Under 18

St Neots T 1, Estover Park 1

First game of the season saw Park draw at last year’s league runners-up.

A poor Saints clearance was controlled by Erin Powell and her through ball sent PoM Amy Newell on a run where she ghosted past the last defender and slotted the ball past the keeper.

Saints’ pressure increased in the second half and they got the equaliser.

Next weekend Park travel to The Woottons.
