Watson bags swift Sports hat-trick

Nathan Watson notched a 10 minute first half hat-trick as Leverington Sports beat Kings Cliffe 5-1 in the Peterborough League Premier Division.

The other two goals came from Sam Cubberley.

These two strikers have now got 42 goals for Leverington between them this season.

Boss Stuart Webb said: “They will obviously get the headlines but Jason Day deserves as much credit as he was fantastic in the centre of the park.”

Parson Drove lost at Moulton Harrox in midweek 4-0.

Three second half goals meant Long Sutton Athletic Reserves ended their Division Three campaign with a 3-0 triumph over Baston.

On target for Sutton – who finished the season in fifth place – were Jake Clitheroe, Darren Goult and Timothy Lowe.
