Whaley warns about complacency

Brett Whaley is warning his March Town team not to be complacent when basement side Stowmarket Town visit the GER on Saturday.

Stu Anderson should be back for the visit of rock-bottom Stowmarket who are the only team in the Ridgeons League Division One not to have registered a point so far from five games.

The Hares boss sounded a note of caution when he observed that Stowmarket won 3-1 at Hadleigh in the FA Vase at the weekend.

He also said: “Coming off the back of a really tough fixture (Saturday’s Vase defeat at Premier Divsion Mildenhall) it’s a game where we need to dominate and we need to start well.

“We need a performance similar to the one we had at Ipswich Wanderers. Sometimes you look at the league table and some sides who have won four out of four haven’t played any top teams yet.

“If you read too much into the table you can take your eye off the ball and fall into the trap of looking at the opposition too much.”
