Preliminary Round

March Town Ladies 1, Roade Ladies 7

It started so well for the Hares when in the opening minutes Anna Hatcher put through Emma Searle to score a great lob from 25 yards.

Searle got a serious ankle injury stopping the game for 40 minutes, waiting for an ambulance. After the restart and on 25 minutes Roade equalised.

Two further goals in quick succession killed off the Hares, although more chances fell to Jade Pointer and Carly Oakley. Keeper Dani Westgate pulled off some great saves.

PoM: Jordan Cooper (100 per cent performance).
