March Town suffered a ninth successive defeat against a useful Felixstowe team.

Dan Shirley scored a consolation goal for March.

Both teams said this was their most competitive match of the season. The young third team played really well and the more experienced seconds were only 2-0 up at half time.

In the second half they extended the lead and the game finished 6-3. Man of the match was second team captain Charlie Boughton who scored two fine goals. Adam Triggs scored three and Rob Mitchell was also on target.

March came close when Becky Hammond saw the keeper make a great save. At the other end Coral Nicolson also made some good saves!

With not long to go, the ball was worked up the left wing, resulting in Emily Wood beating the keeper. Soon after the ball was in the D again with Libby Wallis scoring.

Emily Plumb (pom) was playing her last game as she is moving to Kent.
