Chatteris first team had a comprehensive five-wicket win away at Great Shelford on Saturday.
The home side made what looked like it could be a tricky target of 198/4 with a wicket apiece going to Andy Wool 1-23, Ant Palmer 1-30, Dom Platt 1-32 and Mark Leach 1-72.
The Chatteris batsmen took advantage of the short boundary square of the wicket, Conner (31) and Kurt Cunningham putting on a brisk 78 for the first wicket.
Kurt made 66 from only 38 balls including five maximums before being judged lbw.
But then Mark Leach finished things with a quickfire 34 from just 15 balls with four 4’s and three 6’s, Chatteris only needing 25 overs to win.
Chatteris seconds got their first league win of the season with a 57-run victory at home to Abbots Ripton, thanks mainly to a brilliant 65 from young Karl Anderson.
Openers Stu Porter (13) and Malc Perry (0) had a bad start with a mix up in the middle, resulting in the run out of Perry, but a good solid 37 from Liam Boxall steadied the ship as Chatteris got a commanding 217/8 from 40 overs.
The visitors were never up with the run rate, making 160/9, Jake Kaval 4-30 from seven overs.
