Adam’s open meet win

After the long summer break March Marlins took eight swimmers to the Thetford Open meet on Sunday and managed six trophies and nine new personal bests.

Adam Lifshack was successful in the open age group, winning first place in 50m Breaststroke and fifth in the 100M Individual Medley. Luke Cable won fifth place in 50m Breaststroke and sixth in 100m IM and 50m Butterfly. Jess Cable was fifth in 50m Breaststroke.

Taking part in their first open meets, Alfie McIntyre, in 50m Breaststroke won a sixth place trophy; and Jake Hoy gained three new PBs in 50 Breaststroke, 50 Freestyle and 50 Backstroke.

Other PBs: Gemma McGowen in 100m IM, Katie McGowen 50m Breaststroke, Lucy Halls 50 Breaststroke and 50m Freestyle, Adam Lifshack 50m Backstroke.
