Long Sutton shooter Aaron Heading was aiming for glory when in action at the Commonwealth Games this week.

The 27-year-old finished fifth in qualification on Monday morning in the men’s trap with 47 points in Glasgow. This was the same score as fourth spot.

The second day of qualification was today (Tuesday). As at the time of going to press Heading was in 26th position with a total of 72 points.
