Strong winds hampered cyclists on the homeward leg in the Tuesday evening Wisbech Wheelers 10 mile TT and the small turnout reflected this, plus the threat of cancellation through rain.

Of the 14 competitors who braved the conditions Andy Bean, freshly graduated from Norwich University and full of beans, was first home followed in by two over-40’s, Mike MacInerney and Doug McClure just two seconds later.
