In a closely contested classic derby, Lisa Baker made no mistake from close range from Long Sutton’s second short corner.

In the second half the defence stood firm with outstanding performances by Jess Hudson, Gemma Parr, Tania White and Rachael Gadsden. Player of the Match: Charlie Leuty.

Saturday’s Prem B fixture really was a game of two halves. Sutton with some sublime team hockey were 4-1 up at half-time via Will Cook, Sisson 2 and Fyson.

In the second half Sutton cracked under pressure as Letchworth levelled.
