Ely City 0, LSHC Ladies 3

The team took heart from the return of defender Jess Hudson and nobody was more pleased than Lisa Baker, who had played out of position.

Baker wasted no time back in attack by bagging two goals in a lively first half.

In the second half young debutant Amber Jones set up Leanne Woodhead to score.

Skegness came with ten players and decided to play 10 outfield and no keeper.

Sutton were well beaten on Saturday in Prem B against the best team they’ve played this season.

Sutton conceded three soft goals within 10 minutes and managed a consolation goal through Harrison.

Alex Canham bagged a brace, including despatching a short corner.

March Town 2nd 8, LSHC Men 3rd 3

March demonstrated why they sit second in the league, gaining a 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes.

With half-time looming at 3-1, a March short corner struck Calvin Bishop resulting in a penalty flick and a significant cut to Bishop’s face. Thanks go to the March player who was a doctor who patched Bishop up to enable him to play on.
