Cambs crash to home loss

Cambridgeshire darts team had a disappointing 25-14 defeat against Glamorgan at March USC at the weekend.

The home side however remain in fourth place in the Premier Division as they still gained points over Cheshire, Warwickshire and Surrey.

Cambs lost all four matches over the weekend but some consolation for the fans was the appearance of world champion Martin Adams on Sunday when he had a 4-2 win over Steve Durnell with 29.43 dart average.

Adams helped the Mens A team lead 4-2 early on in the match but they then lost their final four games to lose 7-5.

The ladies A team lost 4-2 but March’s Juliet Findley did have a 3-1 victory.

The mens B team lost out 7-5 and the ladies B team were beaten 4-2.

The next game is at Kent on February 12-13.
