The weekend saw Cambridgeshire darts team enjoy a great 24-15 victory over Glamorgan in the Premier League of the British Inter County Championship.

Cambridgeshire started the weekend off in sixth place just one point behind their opponents, but the win now leaves Cambs in fourth place.

In the respective matches the Ladies B team won 4-2 with Nadine Bentley taking the Match Award.

The Mens B got a very good 6-6 draw after trailing 0-5. The Match Award winner was Jason Smith, and there were 180’s from Darren Cotterell, Eddie Martin, Jason Smith and Garry Kilpatrick. Pete Fuller had a 101 shot out.

The Ladies A also won 4-2 with the Match Award going to Amanda Abbott. Juliet Findley hit a 180 and Diane Nash had a 118 shot out.

The Mens A won 7-5 and Dennis Harbour took the Match Award. There were 180’s from Paul Wenn, Chris Sands Pearce, Dennis Harbour and Martin Adams. while Ian Withers had a 126 shot out and Kelly Corcoran a 106.

The next match is at the end of November when Cambs travel to Cornwall.
