The new training and coaching regime at Fenland Running Club paid dividends at the Eye Community Runners 10K mixed terrain race on Sunday when six of the 11 members gained new PBs and four took first in age group prizes.
In a field of 438, first home for Fenland, was Martin Jennings with a new PB of 39.47.
Other PBs: John Chapman, Mel Murdoch, Maire Irlam, Michelle Gilbert and Jay Gilbert.
A trio of first place for age group was taken by the ladies with Mel Murdoch 1st V35. Sarah Gauvin 1st V40 and Maire Irlam 1st V45. Colin Ferguson stormed home in 43.29 to take the 1st male V60.

Sole FRC runner at the Dereham 10 mile race was Matt Pyatt just two weeks after setting a new FRC marathon record. In a field of 216, Matt finished in a respectable 7th place in a time of 59.02.
l Fifteen FRC members took part in the field of 1,557 who completed the Bespak Grand East Anglia Run in King’s Lynn.

On Bank Holiday Monday, the marathon season continued with seven FRC members tackling the Milton Keynes Marathon.
Andrew Plume got a 13-minute PB, Stuart Follen a 44-minute PB and Martin Jennings an hour PB.
Richard Betts pulled up with injury at around 16 miles and Leanne Rickett pulled out with heat stress.
